The Aquila Cloak is

Loosely based on a style once popular in the 1920's, Aquila Cloaks are carefully replicated in modern fabrics. They are made from polyester fleece which is easy to wash and quick to dry. A custom made cloak is priced at just £17 including VAT plus £3.50 UK post and packing.

Most Cloaks are made to order, and you can choose from the variety of plain and patterned fleeces which we have in stock. We do occasionally have some readymade cloaks in stock, so do check the bottom of the ordering page to see what we might have that would suit your needs.

About Aquila

Aquila is the Latin for Eagle, and is where the word quill comes from.  Aquila was the name of a relative of Bex Smith’s from the late 1800's. She says, “We chose it as my youngest son's middle name. He has been the inspiration behind a number of practical items that I have made to keep him cosy, comfortable and portable since his birth over 2 years ago.” Aquila Baby & Beyond will be bringing together some of Bex’s creations in response to requests from other parents who have seen her out and about and asked where they too can get them. The Aquila Cloak is just one of a number of products we hope to include here over the coming months.
